In Person Booking Steps

First Step...

Consider Your Needs
The Radiant Dance Teacher offers quite a large selection of learning opportunities, so the first step needs to be making choices.
A) Consider what your you need and want most at this time
B) Consider what your students/staff most need at this time, as needs vary during the teaching season
C) Book a Zoom call with Mariah-Jane to discuss your current needs
A suggestion is to open a tab with the In Person Menu to consult with as you go through the steps.
2nd Step...
Prioritize
Go thru the In Person Menu in each of the Sections:
- All
- Teachers
- Students
- Studio Owners
- Parents
Then prioritize which population to schedule first, second, etc.
ie. Is a teacher workshop most important at this time, or a group masterclass for students?
Then choose what combination you want of:
- Masterclasses
- Workshops
- Seminars
- Courses
- Private Sessions
Workshop and Seminar Topics

3rd Step...

Consult with Others
Even if you are the studio owner, a consultation with others will be necessary.
By involving others in the menu selections, you can ensure that dancers, teachers and perhaps even parents are excited to attend any upcoming plans.
If you are a dance teacher wishing to study in person with Mariah-Jane, you can bring this idea to your studio owner to see hosting a session can work for studio teachers/students only, or if hosting for the area is a better option.
4th Step
Create a Budget
In consultation with Mariah-Jane, work to create a schedule that works for both parties.
Daytime and Evening hours are available up to a max up 8 hours of teaching per day.
Part of the Consideration for Budget would be:
- Your Studio ONLY
- Host a Workshop Series that other studios (teachers and students) can attend

Please reach out to Request the current Fee Schedule either before or after you are creating your budget.
Please consider:
- Fees for Masterclasses, Workshops/Seminars and Courses
- Travel and Accommodation
- Per Diem
If you are part of a pre-arranged Travel Tour, these fees are flexible vs a specific travel event to your studio only.
**Mariah-Jane enjoys stay at the home of a host vs a hotel.
5th Step...

Create a Schedule
In consultation with Mariah-Jane, work to create a schedule that works for both parties.
Daytime and Evening hours are available up to a max of 9 hours of teaching per day.
Lunch and Dinner breaks required.
When looking at the In Person Menu (link below) please be sure to look to the Sample Bookings shared to help you craft your ideal schedule.

I hosted a workshop taught by Mariah Jane Thies. I knew we would walk away with information, but was amazed at the amount of detail we were given! Mariah Jane had given us information so relevant to our own bodies, and information relevant to many challenges faced by dance students. Logical build up; linking of ideas and concepts to create greater understanding; clear discussion on the reasons and purposes of movements made it easy to digest and apply the information.
