"Mariah-Jane impressed me with her broad and unconventional perspective on so many different levels. She is an avant-garde woman who has learned from experience both the benefits and risks associated with dance training. She applies her diverse background for the benefit of those who study dance, and those who teach dance.
Mariah-Jane offers a refreshing and holistic approach to dance. I applaud her for breaking barriers."
Mona D'Amours, CID/World Congress of Dance Vancouver President

Speaking Experience
Mariah-Jane was a Toastmaster for many years honing her speaking skills and competing thru the club, division and district levels in:
- International Speech
- Evaluation
- Table Topics
In November 2021, Mariah-Jane realized a dream of speaking on the TED stage. The pressure to write and memorize an 18 minute speech and practice the pace (she finished with 4 seconds left on the clock) was intense, but has left her with the confidence to present at any event. She drew upon her various trainings to link the preparations with a calm and focused brain state, and has since helped prepare others for stage performances.
Unlike most people, Mariah-Jane is excited to speak publicly.
